Whole Wheat Bread
Ingredients
Amt. Measure Ingredient
3
cups (8 fl oz)hot water
1
cupExtra Virgin Olive Oil (First cold press)
1/2
cuphoney
2
tablespoonsReal Salt
1/4
cuppowdered lecithin

1/2
cupsHard Red Wheat (freshly milled)
3
1/2
packagesinstant yeast (Fleishmans, Red Star)
Steps
Sequence Step
1Place hot water, oil, honey, salt and lecithin in your mixer or bowl. Mix together some
2Add 1/2 of the flour into the liquids. Add the yeast and mix.
3Add the remaining flour. If you plan on making loaves or rolls, use all the flour. If you plan on rolling the dough to use for stuffed breads, cinnamon rolls, garlic rolls, etc; then reserve 1 cup and use it to roll with.
4Knead with machine for 8 minutes or by hand for 20 minutes. Let rise until double, usually 45 minutes.
5Punch down and form into your desired product. Let rise until double again.
6Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes for breads, 20-25 minutes for rolls or until golden brown on top.
7Let stand for 10 minutes and remove from pan. You can brush with melted butter with seasonings, oil with seasonings or just leave plain.

3You can add chopped nuts of all kinds, but I find the more their chopped the better the taste (although I LOVE whole nuts!). You can add raisins or other dried fruit too!

5Let cool and add my frosting recipe if you desire!
