1/2	cup	white sugar
1/2	cup	butter, cubed
3/4	teaspoon	vanilla extract
2	large	eggs
1 1/3	cup	sifted all-purpose flour
1/4	teaspoon	baking soda
3/4	cup	sour cream
2/3	cup, chopped	pecans
1/2	teaspoon	cinnamon, ground
2	tablespoons	brown sugar

Steps

1	Preheat oven to 350F.
2	Beat sugar, butter, vanilla, eggs, flour, baking soda, and cour cream until smooth. About 2 minutes.
3	Distribute half of the batter among the cups of a 6-cup standard greased or paper lined muffin pan.
4	In a small bowl, combine the pecans, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Sprinkle half over the batter in the pan. Top with the remaining batter, then sprinkle with the remaining pecan mixture.
5	Bake 20-25 minutes. Cool in the pan 5 minutes. Serve warm.
