Steps
Sequence Step
1Toast almonds and oats in 350 oven for 20 min until lightly browned. Reduce heat to 300
2Plump raisins and cranberries in boiling water approx. 5 min. then drain. Discard liquid.
3In saucepan heat honey, syrup, applesauce, vanilla, sugar and salt until dissolved.
4In large bowl mix cranberries, raisins and flax until coated. Add toasted oats and nuts. Pour liquid over top stir til thoroughly coated. Press firmly into parchment lined, oiled 9×12 pan. Bake in 300 oven until browned 30 to 40 minutes
5Note: coconut oil is used to grease pan. Rest is added to liquid part of recipe
