Crock pot recipe cooked 8 hours on low or 4 on high. I usually use the 4 hours on high. No serving size is given or servings per recipe but I go with 1 cup serving. I got the number of servings by comparing the recipe with a similar one.

Trim fat from meat and cut into 1 inch pieces.

Heat oil in skillet.

Sear meat until brown on all sides (about 5 minuets). Remove from heat and put in crock pot.

Add garlic to skillet and sauté about one minute.

Deglaze skillet with red wine and pour contents into crock pot.

Place crock pot in base and sprinkle with tapioca.

Add potatoes, carrots, onion, beef broth, bay leaves, rosemary, and pepper.

Cover and cook on LOW 8 hours or HIGH 4 hours.

Remove bay leaves before serving.
