Fill deep dish pie plate 3/4 full with peeled, cored, and sliced apples

sprinkle 1 tbsp of sugar and 1 tsp of cinnamon over the apples

Melt 1 stick of butter then add: 1 C sugar, 1 egg, 1 C flour and 1/4 C water. Mix well

Add 1/2 C nuts

Batter will be thick. Spread over the apples
