Slice onions thin

melt half of butter and saute onions until limp and golden brown

Combine flour, salt, and pepper in bag and coat all meat

Brown meat in remaining butter

Add onions back to pan with remaining ingredients. Cover and bake at 325 for 2 hours. Serve over noodles or rice.
