Saute the onions in butter. Combine with the soups, broth, and chilies.

Add pieces of chicken and mix together until well combined.

In a large baking dish, place a layer of corn tortillas, layer of chicken mixture, and layer of grated cheese. Repeat layers until casserole dish is filled.
