Soak shelled raw almonds in a large bowl with 2 cups of water and 1/4 tsp salt. Let soak in refrigerator for two days.

Drain and rinse almonds from soaking water. Discard the old water. Place soaked almonds in a blender with 2 cups of water. Blend on high for 4-5 minutes.

Using cheesecloth over a large bowl pour the almond milk mixture through. With clean hands squeeze the cheesecloth over the bowl until most of the liquid comes off of the almond meal. Pour off almond meal from the cheesecloth into another container for future use. Continue to strain the almond mixture from the blender until finished.

After all of the almond mixture is strained to almond milk from the blender pitcher. Rinse the pitcher and place strained almond milk back into blender. Blend mixture another minute. Restrain the remaining milk again.

Place milk into a cover glass container in the refrigerator and enjoy for at least 4 days.
