Cook apple in butter in a pot to slightly soften, approx 5 min.

Add water and raisens to the pot and bring to boil.

In seperate bowl beat egg whites to frothy and stir oatmeal into egg white.

When water boiling add oatmeal mixture to water. Reduce heat stir, cover and cook for 5 min.

Spoon into bowls sprinkle with brown sugar and 1/2 cup milk if desired
