I've had this recipe since 1963. I know it's decadent, but everyone has to indulge every now and then!

Step
1
In heavy duty mixer cream first 4 ingredients until well blended. Add flour 1/2 cup at a time; mixing well after each addition.
2
With floured hands, divide dough in half and form two large patties. Wrap each patty in waxed paper and refrigerate for 2 hours.
3
On floured surface and with floured hands roll our half of one patty to form a 1/4 inch thick round. Using cookie cookie cutters, that have been dipped in flour, cut out shapes. Work quickly as dough will become too soft to cut out.
4
Bake in preheated 350-degree oven until edges are barley golden brown. When completely cooled frost with buttercream frosting and decorate with sprinkles, etc.
