Sequence Step
1Rinse rice in cold water and boil in 4 c. water for 10 minutes.
2Saute chopped onion in 2 tbsp. olive oil or butter
3place onions and wild rice in large casserole dish with barley. stir.
4Add vegetables to top of grains
5Pour apple juice and broth on top.
6Cover tightly with aluminum foil or lid and bake at 375 for one hour or until vegetables are tender.
