Drain potatoes in cheesecloth to get rid of extra water.

Mix all ingredients in a bowl.

Heat the oil in a large pan on the stove.

Spoon potato mixture by large spoonfuls into the pan and press into circles so that pancakes are at the depth you want.

Cook until browned on one side and then turn and brown on the other side.
