ripe bananas (mashed well)

pecans or walnuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Grease and flour a loaf pan.

In a blender, combine eggs, butter, bananas, and sugar.

In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cream of tartar.

Pour moist mixture over dry mixture.

Mix well. Add nuts.

Pour into loaf pan and bake in oven for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.

Cool for 10 minutes.

Turn out onto wire rack and completely cool.

Serve with butter or alone.
