1 | Defrost liver. |
2 | Dredge liver in flour and pepper on wax paper for easy cleanup. |
3 | Slice the onion. |
4 | Melt butter over medium heat. |
5 | Saute onions until soft then remove from pan. |
6 | Fry liver until no more red shows. (approximately 5 minutes) |
7 | Melt in the 1 Tablespoon of butter in the drippings. |
8 | Stir in the 2 Tablespoons of flour until well mixed. |
9 | Add 1 cup water all at once. |
10 | Stir over medium heat until it comes to a boil. |
11 | Simmer 1 minute. |
12 | Serve. |
