1Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp.
2Dry off oil on paper towels and crumble bacon.
3Whisk flour, and the next 3 ingredients together in a large bowl.
4Whisk buttermilk, eggs and 3 tbsp. maple syrup in medium bowl.
5Add buttermilk mixture to dry ingredients, stir until blended.
6Fold in melted butter and bacon.
7Preheat waffle iron and lightly brush with oil or use cooking spray. Spoon waffle batter on to waffle iron and bake until waffles are brown.
