Steps

1put milk in large microwave safe measure
2microwave for 30 seconds,then stir in the butter until it melts
3stir in oatmeal and blackstrap molasses, let steep for 10 minutes
4stir together flour, baking powder, nuts and raisins
5beat the egg lightly, add to milk mixture
6slowly stir wet ingredients into dry mixture
7put into well greased muffin tin, bake 29-45 minutes at 325 degrees
