Emily's Science Project - Vegitarian Meal, Main Dish. From "MOOSEWOOD RESTRAUNT" Cookbook. Would be better with more finely chopped cheese, or even grated cheese.

Combine cubed cheese, finely chopped pepperocini, chopped hard boied eggs

DOUGH

Sift flour and salt. Add melted butter, yogurt, and enough water to make a firm dough.

Knead dough on floured surface til smooth

Pinch off dough to make 6 balls

roll each ball into 5" circle.

place about 1/2 C filling in center of each circle. Wet edges. Fold dough over into 1/2 circle and crimp edge with tines of fork.

store on lightly floured tray.

Deep fry each pastry until golden in 2 - 3 inches oil at 306 degrees.
