Mix vinegar and milk; set aside. Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs; beat well. Add bananas; beat till light and fluffy. Sift dry ingredients; add to mixture. Add milk and nuts. Pour into 2 9" loav pans. Bake 30-45 minutes at 375 until knife comes out clean.
