Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, allspice, cinnamon, and salt.

Make a well in the center of dry ingredients and add the egg and egg white, oil, dates, and brown sugar.

Mash bananas in food processor. Add buttermilk and vanilla and blend. Pour into dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.

Pour batter into nonstick 8.5 by 4 inch loaf pan and bake at 350 for 45 minutes.

Cool loaf for 10 minutes on rack. Remove from pan and continue to cool on rack.
