grease baking sheet, about 2/3 of it. cover with 1 cup roasted pecans.

bring sugar, corn syrup, hot water and butter to a boil, stiring. then leave to boil for 15 minutes or so- until golden brown

pour sugar mixture over pecans on baking sheet. then pour chocolate chips on top. let sit for 45 seconds. then spread evenly so that they melt together. wait 10 minutes and refriderate for 1 hour
