This recipe is found on the back of the breakfast oats package ditributed by Rogers Foods out of Armstrong BC. The breakfast oats contain flaxseed, oat flakes, oat bran and wheat.

Combine flour, salt and spices, set aside.

Place eggs, vegetable oil and applesauce in a large bowl and beat together.

Add orange rind, vanilla, oats, oat bran, flaxseed, almonds and sunflower seeds and stir until well combined.

Mix in flour, salt and spice blend, add cranberries and stir until well distributed.

Using 1/4 cup of cookie dough per cookie, place on prepared cookie sheet and press with a fork to form 3.5 inch cookies.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned. Let cool on cookie sheet before removing.
