| 1 | Rinse sauerkraunt and let drain, in the meantime season chicken with garlic, celery seed, salt and pepper to taste. Place chicken in baking dish and cover with sauerkraut. | 2 | Sprinkle onions and brown sugar over the chicken and sauerkraut. Wrap dish with foil and place in a 350 degree oven. | 3 | Bake covered for about an hour then remove foil for browning. When chicken temp is 185 degrees remove from the oven. Serve with rice or mashed potatoes. |
