Apple Caramel Cake

Steps
Sequence Step
1Preheat oven to 350F
2Grease and flour 9x13 pan
4Add oil, eggs, vanilla
5Mix well
6Fold in apples (and raisins-optional)
7Spread into 9x13 pan
8Bake at 350F app 40 minutes til toothpick inserted in center comes out clean
9GLAZE WHILE STILL HOT




Caramel Glaze
Ingredients

cups2% milk or skim

Steps
Sequence Step
1Combine all ingredients in saucepan
2Bring to boil at medium heat
3Let boil, stirring, app 2 minutes (will start to thicken a bit)
4Poke holes in top of hot cake (so glaze will soak in)
5Pour hot glaze on top of cake
6Let cool and serve
