1I cook the chicken thighs with the onions and garlic on top of the stove in a roaster, until chicken is done and stock is made. I remove the chicken and debone chopping the chicken up and then re-add to the stock. I add potatoes and carrots first and cook until almost done before adding the rest of the veggies. I also only add the salt and pepper to taste.
