Recipe Description This is my homemade bread recipe that I use daily & even to make my holiday stuffing, which is a huge success!

cups1 cup Vegetable Oil

cup (8 fl oz)water

cupwhite sugar

Steps
Sequence Step
1Combine 3 cups of the flour, yeast, salt and sugar
2Combine warm water and oil
4Add remaining 3 cups of flour (I usually use my hand to mix. It appears to help the dough rise better)
5Knead dough on a floured surface for approximately 10 minutes (until not sticky) then place into a bowl (put a little oil in the bowl to keep the dough from sticking)
6Cover Bowl (I use plastic wrap) and less rise until doubled - approximately 1 hour
7Divide dough into 2, knead in hand for a minute then place into bread pan to let rise again. - again about 1 hour
8When bread has risen, bake for 45 minutes at 375. When finished brush with melted butter.
