Steps
Sequence Step
1Mix yeast, warm water, 1/4 c. brown sugar, salt, and flour till smooth. Let rise 1 hour.
2Combine hot water, oil, and 1 c. brown sugar. Add to first mixture.
3Add whole wheat flour and mix.
4Turn out onto surface and knead till smooth and firm.
5Let rise for approximately 45 minutes. Shape and place in pans.
6Let rise again for approximately 45 minutes.
7Bake at 375 F for 40-50 minutes.
