Place walnuts in food processor and blend on high until the nuts are finely ground.

Add the cacao and salt. Pulse to combine.

DATES - should measure 2 1/2 cups.
Add dates 1 at a time . Should have a mix that looks like cake crumbs, but easily holds together when pressed. If mixture does not hold together add more dates.

Place in the pan you plan to use for the bars and combine with the chopped almonds. Press into the pan and place in freezer or fridge until ready to serve.
