cupblack beans, canned, rinsed & drained

cupVegetables, mixed stir fry frozen

Steps
Sequence Step
1Bring 1/2 cup of water to a boil
2Add 1/8 cup of the TVP to the water and let simmer for about 5 minutes
3Saute the vegetables with the cumin in a separate sauce pan in the meantime
4Rinse the black beans and begin mashing them into the tofu
5Add the TVP, tofu mixture, and flour in a pot to hand mix
6Mix until homogeneous and add salt and pepper to taste
7Mold into patty shapes, makes two large
8Heat over hot canola oil in a sauce pan for about 20 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway.
