shredded cheddar cheese

Mix all ingredients well, except cheese.

Separate mixture into 12 equal parts and make thin patties from each part.

Separate cheese into 6 piles and press together cheese in each pile. Place 1 pile of cheese in center of 6 of the patties.

Place second patty on top of each of the patties with cheese. Press edges together to seal.

Broil in oven, or saute with butter/oil in nonstick skillet for five minutes on each side.
