In a medium sauce pan heat the cream and sweetened condenced milk on low and just keep warm

In a heavy pan combine sugar, lite corn syrup (Karo) and salt. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly. Boil the mixture for 1 minute.

Once mixutre is boiling slowly add 1/4 cup milk mixture at a time stirring for 3 minutes between each addition. (Takes about 45 minutes to incorperate all of the milk mixture)

Cook to 242 degrees for firm ball stage.

Remove from heat and add vanilla.

Quickly pour in to foiled and buttered pan. Let set in a cool place for several hours to set. (Do not refregerate)
