1Preheat oven to 400. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter, vanilla, salt and 1 cup sugar together until light and fluffy. Add flour and nuts into butter-sugar mixture. Roll into 1 inch balls. Place about 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake the cookies for 10 min until golden brown on the bottom. Remove warm cookies and transfer to cooling racks. Cool slightly then roll in powdered sugar. When the cookies have completely cooled, roll again in powdered sugar.
