Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grees 13x9-inch baking dish.
2
Place sausage in a large skillet and cook over medium-high stirring occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain crumbled sausage on paper towel to remove oil and moisture.
3
Place brocolli in small sauce pan, cover with water, cook for 5 minutes, drain and squeeze all water out, let cool.
4
Beat eggs, milk, butter, salt and pepper in a bowl, pour into prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with sausage, onions, brocolli, and 1/2 cup shredded chedder cheese.
5
Bake in preheated oven until knife inserted near the center comes out clean, 15 minutes.
6
Top with the balance of 1/2 cup chedder cheese and finish baking for 5 minutes.
7
Allow to cool slightly, 5 to 10 minutes, cut into squares.
8
Serve 1 square per serving, topped with 1 teaspoon sour cream, as desired.
