1in a bowl, mix the small apple lemon juice cinnamon and nutmeg.
2cook in a covered skillet on med-low heat with a tbsp butter or ghee until soft. roughly 7 mins. OPTIONAL: drizzle some honey or maple syrup over top.
3pour the mixture in a ramekin or custard cup
4in a food processor pulse almonds and coconut for 30 seconds.
5sprinkle mixture onto the apples (you may have some topping left over). lightly drizzle with a tbsp butter or ghee or spray lightly with cooking spray.
6bake at 350 degrees for 7 mins until golden brown
