| 1 | Combine sugar, corn syrup, water, and cream of tartar in sauce pan. | 2 | Bring mixture to boil, stirring constantly. | 3 | Once boiling, stop stirring and insert thermometer and continue to cook until 300 - 310 degrees. | 4 | Remove from heat. Allow to cool to 275 degrees. Add color and flavor, stir to mix. |
