Boil Lentils, drain. Saute onion, carrots, garlic and potatoes. Return Lentils to pot. Add water or chicken broth. Let boil them simmer for 30 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and dill. Dice sausage and add to soup. Make a rough from bacon, olive oil and flour. Add to soup to thicken. Add splash of vinegar.
