Blend milk and egg yolk together. Microwave on high 45-50 seconds.

Blend flour and salt together. Add yeast, sugar, and butter and blend together.

Add flour mixture to milk mixture a little at a time until dough forms a ball.

Kneed dough ball 5 minutes. Divide into 6 equal parts. Add food color to each part and kneed it in.

Set the dough aside to rise.

Flatten each dough piece into a rectangle the size of the bread pan. Brush each layer with water and stack together. Place dough in bread pan and allow to rise.
