Sear chicken thighs until becomes golden brown. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside for later use. Strain out drippings from oil. In same skillet combine all ingredients, heat until boiling, reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes.

Add chicken, cover and simmer 25-35 minutes, stirring occasionally, until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 180 degrees at the deepest part of the thigh.
