It is sweeter than chocolate and healthier; it contains vitamins and minerals such as vitamin B1, vitamin A, niacin, potassium, calcium and other valuable nutrients. It is lower in fat and calories than chocolate. Many people have found melting carob chips to be difficult and resulting in a paste. Melt carob chips by mixing the carob with milk (I used almond milk), oil or Paramount Crystals. So easy, so handy, so delicious!
