Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Brush bottom and sides of bottom pie crust with beaten egg white.

Add a layer of potatoes, round steak and onions; repeat layer one time.

Dot with butter, salt and pepper

Cover with second pie crust

Place on baking sheet and bake for 1 1/2 hours.

Remove from oven and pour cream into slits; return to oven and bake an additional 30 minutes or until meat and potatoes are tender.
