Simple, old recipe for a quick bread. Absolutely wonderful with soup or with lunchmeat/cheese plate. Don't use a light beer for this bread. Beer taste contributes to flavor of bread - use a pilsner for a smooth taste or a dark beer for heavier taste. Can also add herbs to taste.
