Mix butter until creamy. Add sugar, eggs, milk, flour, baking powder, vanilla, salt. Beat together until smooth. Melt baking chocolate. Add to mix. Spread into greased and floured pan.

Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes.

Icing:
Put in pan 1 oz baking chocolate (unsweetened), 1 tbsp butter, and 1/4 cup milk. Melt all together until milk is hot (do not burn...do over low heat). Add melted mix to 2 cups confectioners sugar. Blend until smooth. Spread on bars while still warm. Sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
