Mix warm water with yeast in bowl, let sit 5 mins to activate, while melting shortening and butter.

Melt Shortening and butter, add to bread machine pan first.

Pour water and yeast into melted butter.

Add honey and evaporated milk.

Slowly add all dry ingredients.

Set machine to dough. Let rise in machine.

Remove dough from machine:
divide dough in half if making loaf or into rolls if making rolls,
roll out and punch out air bubbles.
Place in buttered loaf/muffin/cookie sheets, butter the tops of the dough, cover loosely with plastic wrap. Let rise in warm area until doubled; second rise should take about 30 minutes.

Place a small pan of water on bottom shelf of the oven. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Bake for 25-35 minutes, or until tops are dark golden brown. Butter crusts while warm. Slice when cool.
