Make the crust. Mix the first four ingredients and press into a 9-inch pie plate. Bake for 10 minutes at 300 degrees

Make the filling: melt the chocolate with the milk, sugar and salt in the top of a double boiler. Allow to cool a little. Add the egg yolks one at a time. Whip egg whites until they slide clean off the side of the bowl. Fold egg whiles into chocolate mixture. Add vanilla and pour mixture into the pie crust.
