Peel and cube potatoes, dice the onion. Put in a medium sauce pan, with with water, bring to a boil and cook until the potatoes are done.(about 15 minutes) Add the margarine and let it melt, then add the milk and simmer until it is hot. Add salt and pepper to taste.
