Plump raisins and cranberries in boiling water approx. 5 min. then drain. Discard liquid.

In saucepan heat honey, syrup, applesauce, vanilla, sugar and salt until dissolved.

In large bowl mix cranberries, raisins and flax until coated. Add toasted oats and nuts. Pour liquid over top stir til thoroughly coated. Press firmly into parchment lined, oiled 9×12 pan. Bake in 300 oven until browned 30 to 40 minutes
