saute onion in butter, add broth, squash, celery, bay leaves,thyme, parsley. Simmer 15-20 minutes until squash is tender. Remove bay leaves, place in blender or use a hand held blender until smooth. Place back in pot. Stir in half and half, salt and cayenne pepper. heat then serve. Freezes well
