1 | In a mixer whip sugar and softened butter until light and fluffy. |
2 | Add vanilla and cornstarch until well blended on med speed |
3 | add flour in 1 cup increments on Med speed until the dough is not too sticky but easy to handle. |
4 | By hand roll into 1 inch balls and place onto greased cookie sheet. Press with fork to flatten slightly. Sprinkle with Demerara sugar or white sugar |
5 | bake in a preheated oven 275 degrees for 30 minutes or until slightly browned (golden). Remove and cool before storing or serving. |
