heat a skillet and saute onions and celery
add garlic to skillet. saute for 2 min
mixed crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, chili, sugar, oregano, sauteed veg, pureed and whole beans to pot.
add boiling water to pot and simmer for 1-1/2 to 2 hours. until temp reaches 165
