Steps
Sequence Step
1Cream shortening, applesauce, sugar, salt.
2Add boiling water and mix well.
3Stir in cereal, egg whites, bananas, and baking powder.
4Dissolve yeast in warm water and add to shortening mixture, stirring well.
5Add flours gradually until it makes a soft dough.
6Place in a greased bowl, turning once to coat top. Cover and let rise in warm place, free from drafts for one hour.
7Divide dough into 2 inch balls.
8Dip each ball in butter and place on a litghtly oiled baking sheet. Cover with a light towel and let rise one hour.
9Bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes or until lightly brown.
