Steps

1Preheat oven to 350° F.
2Grate and drain pineapples.
3Cook on medium heat, about 40 minutes, stirring often.
4When dry add honey and remove from heat.
5Cream butter and sugar and beat in egg yolk.
6Add salt and vanilla extract.
7Fold in sifted flour.
8Form dough balls then make a 1 1/2” round well in the center.
9Pinch around the rim of the well with your thumb and forefinger.

11Chill for 10 to 15 minutes before baking.
12Brush pastry with milk and bake for 15-20 minutes.
